He obtained his PhD, MPhil and MSc degrees from the School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He has an h-index of 14 for his journal publications. His research interests include polymer sciences, polymer nanocomposites, bio-nanocomposites, rubber-based nanocomposites and fire-retardant polymers.
