Higher Geometry And Trigonometry: Being The Third Part Of A Series On Elementary And Higher Geometry, Trigonometry, And Mensuration (1845)

Higher Geometry and Trigonometry, written by Nathan Scholfield and originally published in 1845, is the third part of a series on elementary and higher geometry, trigonometry, and mensuration. This book is intended for advanced students of mathematics who have already studied the basics of geometry and trigonometry. The book begins by introducing the concept of higher geometry, which includes the study of curves, surfaces, and solid figures. It then delves into the intricacies of trigonometry, covering topics such as the trigonometric functions, identities, and equations. Throughout the book, Scholfield provides numerous examples and exercises to help students better understand the material. He also includes a section on mensuration, which is the study of the measurement of geometric figures. Overall, Higher Geometry and Trigonometry is a comprehensive guide to advanced mathematical concepts, making it an essential resource for students and scholars of mathematics. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
