Small 8vo. Black cloth with paper label, price-clipped dust jacket. viii, 61pp. Near fine/very good. Mild jacket edgewear, with several tiny edge chips. Tight, quite attractive first edition. On the front flyleaf, he handsomely pens in black ink a slightly imprecise Lincoln quote, "'I shall do nothing through malice; / the things with which I have to do are / too great for malice.'" and signs boldly in full below.
