Cover Art; This is a mass market paperback book. Lancer Book number 73-636 with a price of .60 cents. The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and wear. The text pages are generally clean and bright, but there is some light generalized toning. "Smith was an active contributor to Astounding Science Fiction during the Golden Age of Science Fiction of the 1940s. His collaboration with the magazine's editor, John W. Campbell, Jr. Was interrupted when Campbell's first wife, Doña, left him in 1949 and married Smith. Smith continued regularly publishing science fiction novels and stories until 1960. His output greatly diminished during the 1960s and 1970s when he had a job that required his undivided attention. He was awarded the First Fandom Hall of Fame award in 1980. " (from Wikipedia).

Besides her full time work as a book dealer/compiler of price guides, she writes articles on the subject of Science Fiction for several trade magazines. She is a collector and reader of first edition science fiction in her spare time.
