Hill Country Dreams (Texas Hill Country)

Hannah Kuhman's chance encounter of seeing her captain at an out-of-the way bar meeting with members of the Mexican Drug Cartel has led her to rethink her occupation choice.

After videotaping the incident and hiding the evidence, her decision to take a short leave turns into a disaster when she falls and hits her head.

She wakes up to find herself back in the 1890s and a handsome Texas Ranger in her rescuer.

This begins her journey to find the reason she was sent back in time. Learning to live in the past without the current technologies is a challenge to Hannah, but she tries to fit in by faking amnesia. Texas Ranger Joshua Stevens becomes her protector as they travel together to his hometown of Fredericksburg, Texas. Little did he know that Fredericksburg was also Hannah's hometown. While there she meets her great-great-grandmother, Polly Kroll, and her Family and her great-great-grandfather, Raymond Kuhlman. Hannah isn't sure if she's an angel returned to change the past, or if she is dreaming.

Prayers seem to go unanswered, but Hannah believes she's there for a reason and learns to navigate the nineteenth century. She uses her friendship with Polly to get to know her ancestors. Her attraction to Joshua has her confused as to why she was transported back in time.

Hannah must put trust in someone. She keeps her faith in God knowing He is there with her. She wants to be back in her own time, but her growing affection for a handsome Texas Ranger has her confused. Will Hannah resign herself to living in the Nineteenth Century or will she make it back home?
