Decent hardcover in tan cloth covered boards with bumped/rubbed tips and periphery of head/foot of covers. Moderate wear to pasted on plate of jumping horse on frt cover. Cloth somewhat splotchy on rear panel. Age toning on endpapers but no writing found. One leaf has a small crescent shaped tear gone that is attached to the next page from a careless opening of 2 uncut leaves. Occasional light soil, few short closed tears and one tiny hole in one page. Serviceable working copy. Begins with a brief anatomy study and branches out to a myriad of selection and training topics depicted with simple line drawings and one glossy plate.
