24 x 15.5 cm. Octavo. [4] L [2] 157pp. Bound into brown pebbled cloth, faded gilt spine lettering. Many in-text drawings. Chipping to head and tail of spine. Front gutter is starting. Originally published in 1847, this is the stated 3rd American edition. Evidence of small book label removal from front paste-down. Hitchcock 346.
