About the Author

Rudiger Lux, Dr. theol, Jahrgang 1947, studierte evangelische Theologie in Halle/Saale und in Greifswald. Er war Gemeinde- und Studentenpfarrer in Cottbus und Halle/Saale sowie nach seiner Promotion (1977) und seiner Habilitation (1992) Dozent fur Altes Testament an der Kirchlichen Hochschule in Naumburg. Seit 1995 ist er Professor fur Exegese und Theologie des Alten Testaments an der Universitat Leipzig.
