This work explores closely the architecture between 1700 and 1900, in particular the dockyards of Britain.Written by Jonathan Coad, a historian of the Royal Dockyards and once President of the Royal Archaeological Institute.Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs and diagrams. In the publisher's original full cloth binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper has the slightest wear to the head of the spine but is otherwise in excellent condition. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
