This is the Second edition, the first in 1924, was "Published as a Guide Book to Commemorate the Centenary of the British Occupation of Malacca, 17th March 1824-17 th March 1924.", and was printed in Singapore. There are 6 pages of local adverts. The book is not perfect bound and the protruding edges of the covers are chipped and creased, otherwise the book is tightly bound, clean and with no markings. There are essays about the history of the Portuguese, the British, the Chinese and the Malays. Malacca is now (from 2008) a UNESCO world Heritage site Size: 185x120mm.
