Excellent compilation of very fine full colour plates of Scottish Regiments by Harry Payne. 1st Edition 1893. 30pp., plus plates (5), appendices with Officers services.Tipped-in handwriiten letter from James Cornish & Sons booksellers and Publishers in London and Liverpool, dated July 1894, indicating that the publication of Scottish Regiments by Johnstone had been stopped etc. Some wear to board edges and modest bump to one edge, hint of foxing etc.Plates excellent. Overall very nice example. Very good-.
