xv+476+462 pages. Green cloth boards, black titles on white spine-label- have been REBOUND. Undated - probably 1905. Browning to title-plates, white flecking to boards of volume II, slight flecking to rear vol I., some wear to spine-ends.Pages to volume II are uncut, thus it has not been used, page-edges to Vol.I are rough-cut as of the period. Page-edges are darkened with age , some browning to end-papers. Excellent b/w illustrations. Text is very clean. Binding is tight. Tidy condition.
