Bound in blue cloth with white engraved past-down to front board, rebacked with cream cloth, size is 7" x 4.25" and condition is Good. X1/154pp with fold-out engraving of Chain Pier as frontis, History of Brighton 110 subjects addressed, including the following; Dorset Gardens, Dollar Society, His Majesty's Stables, Royal Brighton Gardens, Etymon, Cricket Ground, Festivals, Adur Lodge, Chain Pier, Brighton Club, Danny Park, Heydown Hill, York Hotel, Waggon Officesm Trees injurious to Health, Packets, Old Ship Tavern and Sea-Vapour Salutary etc. (108pp) Also, Section entitled"Picture of the Roads"(45pp). a description of local Towns, Villages, Staging Posts, Inns Country Seats of Gentlemen etc. Rebacking is adequate but amateurish, some minor rubbing and stains to frontboard, name on FFEP, minor cracking to hinge at title page; Condition Good.
