All page edges marbled. Marbled endpapers. In good conditions. Some rubbing to edges and corners, corners slightly bumped. Volume VI a little scuffed at head. Lacks one label label, with some small chips to a few other spine labels. Bookplates to endpapers ?James David Humsden of Huntingtowerfield,? Inside pages and plates all very clean and tight throughout, plates crisp and bright, some small foxing spots to pages near ends, also to a few plates. Else clean and tight 1st edition of this famous set. Six volumes. Complete with 358 colour chromolithographic plates by Benjamin Fawcett. 364, 360, 391, 330, 315 & 290pp.
