Uniform matching sixth edition hard back binding recently recased in full dark tawny brown smooth leather, the spines divided into five panels, red morocco lettered labels to the second, tools to the others, marble page edges, new biscuit end sheets. 8vo. 9'' x 6¼''. Contains xliv + 382 pp | xxii + 432 pp. Profusely illustrated with black and white wood engravings by Thomas Bewick, and with many decorative country inspired vignettes. Foxing to the end sheets, two ink names dated 1867 and 1936 to the second end papers. Lovely condition. Member of the P.B.F.A. ORNITHOLOGY.
