About this Item
"With sixteen plates in colour and about 600 other illustrations and patterns." This edition undated but ca. 1928. Clean pages save for a prior owner's name at the front free endpaper, some rusty spotting on the final free endpaper, and modest age-toning in the margins throughout; the full red cloth cover shows only small points of shelfwear at corners and two shallow wrinkles to the fabric at the spine head. The jacket bears an open chip at the spine head, a few short edge tears with attendant creases around the spine head, scattered handling prints, and toning along spine and uppers, otherwise sound, now protected in a clear sleeve. 464pp. incl. index. Laid in is a small 21pp. illustrated catalogue from "Geo. Lauterer, Historical Costumer" produced circa 1910. Seller Inventory # 077843
