Ex-library from the Lynn Free Public Library, with bookplate, markings, and stampings present. Includes frontispiece portrait of the author, along with portrait of King George I. An extremely scarce third edition. Laurence Echard (c. 1670-1730) was an English historian and clergyman who produced and edited works on English history and geographical subjects.
