All volumes w/ previous owner's name on flyleaf; contents well-toned, moderately foxed, otherwise clean, unmarked, no brittleness, bindings & hinges quite firm; exteriors pristine. All volumes bearing its frontispiece portrait, but Volume 3 lacks the bottom quarter of frontis. portrait of Elizabeth I (this portion would bear just her name; the picture of the queen herself is fully present), along with missing title pg. & Table of Contents. Volume 4 shows water-stain to inside margin of first few pgs.
