8vo. In full calf leather binding. Gilt title labels & gilt decorated spine, with raised bands. Gilt borders to boards. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers & edges. In good condition. Some minor rubbing on edges, with a few faint marks. Inside each volume, with professional, clever inside hinge reinforcement, thin strip of matching marbled added so nearly not noticeable. Volume One inside small mark lower inner corner first Ca 30 pages. Occasional foxing spots throughout. Else clean and tight copies. Size 8.5 x 5.25 inches 8 & 5 volumes. Portrait frontis to first volume by each author. History of England begun by David Hume and continued by Tobias Smollett.

Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We

library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
