Complete set of thirteen volumes. London 1793?1794. Contemporary full mottled calf with gilt spines and contrasting title labels. Engraved plates throughout. Volumes one to ten dated 1793 and volumes eleven to thirteen dated 1794. No exlibris. Bindings with expected eighteenth century wear to spines and boards and some hinge stress but all textblocks remain securely attached. Pages clean with minimal foxing. A complete Enlightenment era set of Hume in uniform period bindings.
