1824 printing half bound in tan polished calf over marbled paper boards. Corners and spine caps are bumped. There is foxing/tanning on pages adjacent to the illustrations and on the illustrations and the text and illustrations are generally clear and unmarked. Name of a previous owner on the ffe. Text is printed in double columns. This is book one in a three volume set. Please see all images. By the 18th century Scottish philosopher and historian.
