Eight volumes 8vo in recent burgundy cloth on boards, spine titles in gilt, marbled endsheets. Frontis portrait in Vol. I and all plates pesent as called for, offsetting limited pages facing the plates, no foxing, very small spots of worming at the bottom of the first three leaves of Vol. I. Overall the text blocks are quite fresh and pleasing.
