1846 3/4 LEATHER EUROPEAN LIBRARY EDITION. Highly decorative bright gilt and leather spine in near perfect condition. Leather corners over red, blue and brown marbled boards; matching marbled end papers and marbled page edges all the way around. Small amount of rubbing wear to boards and corners with a scrape on the back. Frontispiece portrait of Charles I; 488 pages. Pages are tanned with foxing on the first free endpapers and through the preface pages. Pages are smooth, clean and otherwise unmarked. Binding is tight and strong.
