Seventh Edition. Half leather with gilt design and marbled paper over boards. General shelf wear including some scuffing of leather, edge wear, worn corners. Exlibrary marks including call number at lower spine, pencil marks on title page, and pocket on rear pastedown of each volume. Minor amount of writing on ffep in some volumes. Bindings are sound, but hinge papers are cracked and holding well. Volume 1, engraved portrait of Louis XVI is defaced. Volumes 6, 9, and 11, ffep loose in book. Volume 9, front joint with spine cracked but holding. Volume 13, shallow tear at top of spine. Page edges are marbled, along with endpapers. Alison's work is regarded as the first scholarly English language study of the French Revolution. ; Ex-Library; 8.75" tall.

Shipping is by Media Mail or Priority Mail within the US. We also

We do not charge for Media Mail shipping inside the US. Priority mail is
