The bindings are tight, several lightly bumped corners, all corners and boards show some rubbing and handling. Front hinges of volumes one and two show signs of starting, a 1" start at the top of the back hinge of volume two. A 1" tear at the bottom edge of the title page at the gutter of volume one. Text and images unmarked. Previous owner name and date (Geo. Vath 1900) written on the limitation page of volume one and the copyright page of the other three volumes.
