2nd edition, volume one of a 4 volume work (only vols 1 and 4 are by Macfalan), this volume covers the years 1760-1770, 402pp, half black morocco with marbled boards, very heavily rubbed and worn, all corners bumped (bottom ones heavily so), bookplate (John Hely Hutchinson) on front pastedown, endpapers and title heavily foxed, presentation label from Mrs Hely-Hutchinson to Lord Donoughmore on front endpaper, some light spotting, title soiled with a small hole in top margin, 8vo (13.5x21cm), ESTC T90791.
