Hardback, approx 9 x 6 inches. Full calf leather binding, gilt lettering to spine and small gilt vignette to front. Plain endpapers and edges. In very good condition. Corners slightly bumped and rubbed at top ends, some rubbing to ends of spine, leather partially cracked at bottom ends of hinges. Mild foxing to prelims and text pages. No inscriptions. Plates are on brighter glossy paper with only minor foxing to outer edges. Else a very good clean and tight copy. viii + 115pp. Illustrated with 43 B&W photo plates including a folding frontis plate.
