About this title

Synopsis

This Part (2-B) contains the Orders of Battle of eighteen thirteen 2nd-line Territorial Force divisions (57th-69th), three home-service divisions (71st-73rd), and the 74th and 75th Divisions. The two last-named divisions were formed in the Egyptian Expeditionary Force in 1917. The infantry of the 74th Division at first consisted of dismounted yeomanry regiments, and it was intended that the infantry of the 75th Division should be composed of Territorial Force battalions from India. To complete the war record of the Territorial Force, and to facilitate reference, the tables of the 74th and 75th Divisions are included in this Part. The 70th Division was never formed.
