A Very Good, full leather binding with red and black label with gilt lettering on spines, ornate gilt design on spines, few Volumes with new labels, marbled text block edges and endpapers/pastedowns, binding intact, some scuffing to boards, leather is a bit dry, some wear to top and bottom spine edges with a bit of loss to leather, age toning to pages, previous owner bookplate affirmed to front pastedown of all Volumes, few uncut pages, starting hinges, bit of rubbing to board edges, crease upper corner prelim xvii and xviii and page 1 and 2 of Volume 12, some rubbing along joints, two fold out maps in rear of Volume 6 are present and intact, some discoloration to a bit dusty top text block edge, bit of discoloration/sunning to spines.
