Publisher's quarter black linen over brick colored boards, printed paper spine label. About 1/3 of the label is now absent, boards rubbed, tips worn, lacking rear blank. A very presentable copy nonetheless.Anti-Papist publications were a cottage industry for much of this nation's history, This work stands above the large majority of such works and Cyrus Mason was no an ill-educated tent preacher but rather a Yale graduate, a Presbyterian minister, a member of the original Council of New York University (NYU), then called the University of the City of New York.
