3 Vols.; William Coxe (March, 1748 - June, 1828) was an English historian; brown half calf bindings with marbled boards; lettering in gilt on black and dark red labels on each of the spines; five raised bands on each volume; spines are square; hinges are tight; book plates by a previous owner on each of the front paste-downs; 528, 522 and 592 pages respectively; shelf wear at edges and extremities with just the slightest loss at the tip of the spine of volume 1; light foxing to one preliminary page in volumes 1 and 2; partial remains of a small bookseller's ticket on vol. 3; an attractive set.
