Encased in protective brodart sleeve in place of a DJ to prevent further damage. Small open tear to brodart sleeve along crown of spine. Covers otherwise undamaged, all text fully legible. Title page dated 2005. No separate copyright page. xx + 605 pages. Includes introduction by John W. Keys III and Carl A. Strock, preface by Brit Allan Storey and Martin A. Reuss, black and white photos and illustrations throughout text, and appendices. Letter from Brit Allan Storey to original owner tucked into front of book, asking that original owner (Keir Sterling) consider it for the Society for History in the Federal Government's Henry Adams and George Pendleton Book Awards. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
