Blue cloth. 656 pp. With a few illustrations. A facsimile reprint of the 1908 edition of this work presenting a history of the towns of Old Tioga Point and Athens, Pennsylvania. This includes first explorations and settlements by whites in the area, the Native American cultures in the area, various land claims and disputes, Revolutionary War activity in the region, general history, etc. GOOD condition. Light scuffing and edgewear. A few sentences and passages highlighted in the last section of the book. Upper fore edges the pages soiled.
