Octavo, 384/372pp., Bound in half leather with marbled paper covered boards. Marbled outside edges. Illustrated by the author. Nice gilt decorated spines with a gilt lettered red leather spine label on each volume. Five raised spine bands on binding. Collated and complete. Some foxing internally and some pages browned with age. Printed title page is dated 1849, but engraved title page is dated 1850. Hinges cracking inside, but still holding quite well. Seldom found as nice as this set. Seller Inventory # 014124
