Green cloth covers- blind-stamped borders on front and rear panels; gold stamped lettering on front panel and spine; top-edge gilt. The book is in overall good to good plus condition, with wear and scuffing to the covers, some fraying to the edges and corners and soiling and chipping to page edges. The contents have a bit of browning and foxing, especially to the tissue guards for the engravings. The spine is slightly bulged, but the binding is still tight. A ll-in-all, a nice copy. ; Contains twenty steel engravings with tissue paper- eight portraits and twelve views. Contents include a history of the seminary, appendices, index and a catalogue of pupils who attended from 1785 to 1870. Laid-in are eleven 5"x9" views apparently from a 1910 souvenir booklet. ; 20 full-page steel engravings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; x, 570pp pages.
