Light toning to spine and cover edges with minor rubbing at lower front corner. Front endpaper bears a 1956 Austin inscription: 'Ron Paul Johnson, Austin, Tex., 1956 May. Gift from John Hejduk.' The gift inscription is from John Hejduk (1929-2000), the celebrated architect, artist, and educator who taught at the University of Texas at Austin in the 1950s before becoming Dean of the Cooper Union School of Architecture. A founding member of the influential 'Texas Rangers' group, Hejduk is revered for his poetic and conceptual architectural vision.
