Gilt rubbed on five raised bands. Ex-libris label to front pastedowns and owner's signature to endpapers. Some light foxing to prelims. Stain to corner of first few pages in Vol.II-II. Hinge partially loose Vol.I-II. Page and engraved plate loose at pp237. Contents otherwise very good, clean and unmarked.
