An in depth history of this New Hampshire town including the village at the college, Etna, the various churches, early courts, militia and military service, newspaper and printers, burying grounds, town paupers, as well as an appendix on slavery in Hanover. VERY GOOD condition. General fading to the covers with minor soiling and edgewear. Spine faded.
