This entirely new Catholic textbook covers the Historical period from the Discovery of America to the 2008 election. The text is a major revision over the previous edition for two reasons. First, unlike the earlier work, The History of the United States contains hundreds of color pictures, maps and graphs. Second, it reads like an exciting adventure story. There are review questions throughout the 32 chapters and end of chapter questions to help the students focus on the important content.
