xii, 390pp. Nicely illustrated in black and white. Bound in original dark brown cloth with clear and bright gilt lettering to spine. Light wear to extremities of covers. Binding slightly shaken, with a little spacing to upper front hinge. Bookseller's (Edward Baker. Birmingham, England) label to front paste-down. Ink-inscription to "front" of leaf that contains frontispiece. Protective tissue between frontispiece and title-page partially detached and in danger of becoming fully detached. Penciled in library call letters to title-page; else, text clean. Mild tanning to paper. No other library treatments to volume. Overall, a nice, clean, sound and attractive copy Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
