About the Authors

Jane Kromm is Associate Professor of Art History at Purchase College, State University of New York. She is the author of numerous articles on the representation of madness.

Susan Bakewell is an independent curator and scholar and has taught at the University of Texas, Arlington and Southern Methodist University and is co-editor of Voices in New Mexico Art.
