The Hit

After deciding to leave her picture-perfect life—the reason for which even she’s not sure—Sandra finds herself at a desolate hotel in the middle of nowhere. There, she meets a dangerous man who shows her a world she’s never experienced before—and a version of herself she’s never known. In author Cecilia Hinojosa’s The Hit, readers will find themselves relating to Sandra, the main character, and will root for her as she discovers both who she truly is, and what happens next in this brilliant, page-turning thriller. And although it’s always a good thing to start over, sometimes there are many obstacles that often stand in the way of getting what you truly want. Yet with perseverance and will power, you can, at the very least, relish in the joy brought about through your efforts.
