Fine slipcased deluxe edition - 1990 reprint. Bound in black cloth with Tolkien's drawing of Smaug stamped in gold, silver, and red to front cover. Also gold stamped to spine. All bright and crisp. Binding square and tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Two of Tolkien's maps re[roduced in black and red on inside covers. 14 colour plates. Slipcase near fine with minor wear to corners. A lovely copy.
