Black covers with beautiful gilt, silver and red design of a dragon to the front, based on a drawing by the author, gilt lettering to the spine, speckled page edges, decorative endpapers, Thror's map, plus a map of Wilderland, 13 illustrations by the author. Book with bright gilt, there are a couple of faint marks to the covers, square, securely bound, pages clean and bright, no inscriptions. Original box, there are a couple of indentations to the box lid on the title label, which is also tanned, some wear and fine scratches to the box. Very good book, good box.
