About this Item

First printing in this form published by The Folio Society in 1979. Faux leather slipcase has some toning to the fore edge plus some wear to the corners of the fore edge, otherwise tidy. Book with burgundy leather spine and cloth sides, top edge dyed same colour, smart covers, bright gilt decoration, pages clean and bright, free from inscriptions. Very good condition. Features a number of black and white illustrations by Eric Fraser, and map endpapers by the author.
