Second edition, 26th printing - as stated on the copyright page. Measuring approximately 8.25" x 5.5" with 317 numbered pages. This book is in very good minus condition. Board edges are bumped. Spine shows foxing spots. No previous ownership names or marks. The original dust jacket is in good plus condition Chipping to the spine ends. Spine is sunfaded and has some old moisture lines visible. Price-clipped The Hobbit is set in Middle-earth and follows home-loving Bilbo Baggins, the titular hobbit, who joins the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves that make up Thorin Oakenshield's Company, on a quest to reclaim the dwarves' home and treasure from the dragon Smaug.
