1st Edition Thus 1997. 1st illustrated edition by Alan Lee. Correct 1st state with info about publication to inner flap. Alan Lee's artwork was used by the film makers for The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. An important edition and becoming uncommon. Book is near fine and very bright and clean. Contents very good. Barcode label to rear endpaper. The complete wrapper is near fine and bright. Edges lightly rubbed. Heavy Book. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 17286.

PBFA members are expected to adhere to a code of practice which includes ensuring that that all transactions are conducted to high professional standards and that all book descriptions are complete, accurate and clearly state any faults. We offer an unconditional guarantee of every item’s authenticity and completeness as described. All refunds are limited to the original purchase price, including initial delivery costs. Postage, packing and insurance are extra at cost. Books may be returned within ten days of receipt if found to be not as described, providing the books are returned adequately packaged and in the same condition as received. I recommend that all returned books are sent by a tracked and signed for postal service as any losses or damage during transit are the responsibility of the sender. Postage return refunds will be at the same postal price as when shipped. Please notify us prior to returning any books. Books remain the property of Lasting Words Ltd until payment is received in full. Lasting Words Limited cannot be held responsible if an item is delayed during transit. Shipping terms
Orders usually shipped within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.
All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
