The final three issues of this Hawaiian labor-oriented newspaper published by the Labor-Community Alliance (LCA). The LCA was founded in December 1972 "by a group of concerned people who wanted to involve themselves more fully in the struggles of working women and men in Hawaii" and "Hoe Hana" acted as the group's educational mouthpiece. Although it primarily focused on labor and other social struggles in Hawaii, it also covered broader U.S. and international news, including much coverage of the United Farm Workers. Following the paper's demise in 1975, its work was continued by "The Worker." Included are Vol. III, Nos. 5-7 (issue 6 is misnumbered 5). Tabloid format printed in black on newsprint, each issue 12 pp., illustrated. A near fine run. Any issue uncommon. None currently offered in the trade and only Amherst College, the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Univ. of Hawaii at Manoa with any issue in WorldCat.
