The Hollowed Land. This item is unavailable. The Hollowed Land

Five years ago, an EMP explosion set mankind back 10,000 years. Now, in the ruins of society, the Anaki—the mythical locust people—work to erase any trace of humanity's existence. But every evil has its origin. As Kip Redfield carves a path of annihilation through what remains of Chicago, he recalls a time long before the explosion of the electromagnetic pulse, a time when he spent a carefree afternoon making new friends along the very same lake shore. Sometimes memories change the future. Sometimes memories are better off forgotten. A stand-alone novella set in the Brother's Keeper series, readers can enjoy reading THE HOLLOWED LAND before or after the first novel in the series, ARKADIUM RISING.This edition now includes two bonus short stories set in the same universe.
