The Hollywood Hack: A No BS Guide For Actors

Break into Hollywood—without waiting for permission.

The Hollywood Hack is the blunt, practical, and refreshingly honest guide every actor needs in 2025. Written by Greg Bekkers, a former talent manager and current indie film producer who spent a decade repping actors and navigating the system, this book is your roadmap to getting signed, getting seen, and actually getting work—even if you don’t have credits, connections, or a clue where to start.

Inside, you’ll learn:

• How to land a manager or agent (and what they’re really looking for)

• What makes a reel, headshot, or self-tape actually stand out

• The email scripts, research tactics, and branding moves that open doors

• What actors unknowingly do that get them dropped—or overlooked

• Why “being talented” isn’t enough, and what to do about it

No fluff. No gatekeeping. No sugarcoating.

Just real industry strategies that have helped launch dozens of working actors—and can help you do the same.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Why am I not getting auditions?”, this is your answer.
